GARNER—In their first matches of the season, the North Union Warriors’ volleyball squad won two of three matches at the Garner volleyball tournament on Saturday, Aug. 31.

The green-black-and-silver topped West Fork 22-20 and 25-23 in a close match and beat Northwood-Kensett by final scores of 21-12 and 21-14, but lost to Rockford 19-21 and 14-21.
