A funeral Mass for Ethel Kohlhaas of Lu Verne, was held Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at Divine Mercy Parish - St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wesley with Father Tim Hogan, Father John Thomas and Deacon David Penton officiating. Burial followed at St. Benedict Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family which will be dispersed to Hospice of the Heartland and St. Benedict Catholic Cemetery in Ethel’s memory.

A funeral service for Joyce Prior, age 76, of Wahpeton, was held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Spirit Lake. Visitation was one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Interment was at Lakeview Gardens Cemetery in Okoboji.

Family and friends departed from the funeral home at 10:45 a.m. to process to Lu Verne Township Cemetery in Lu Verne where graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Services have been entrusted to Lentz Funeral Home of Algona.
