ALGONA—Bishop Garrigan exploded for 30 points in the opening eight minutes and never looked back in a 70-61 win over the West Fork Warhawks in the Class 1A district semi-finals played on Thursday, Feb. 20.

The home team started fast by building a commanding 30-18 advantage at the end of the first period. The black-and-gold took a 48-32 lead to the locker room at halftime and led 58-48 heading into the fourth quarter.
