Interstate Power and Light Company, Alliant Energy’s Iowa energy company, is proposing to construct a battery energy storage system in Kossuth County, Iowa (the “project). In Iowa, Alliant Energy serves approximately 500,000 electric customers and 230,000 natural gas customers. They will hold an informational meeting open to the public in Lakota on April 3 at 12:30 p.m. at the Lakota Community Room.
