For the second year in a row, Algona Community Schools is setting a school calendar with holiday and spring breaks.

The 2025-26 calendar approved unanimously Monday, March 10, by the Algona School District Board of Education has 1,080 instructional hours. It starts on Aug. 25 with an end date for students on May 20. The last day for staff is May 21.
