ALGONA—Playing probably their best game of the 2023-2024 campaign, the Bishop Garrigan Golden Bear boys’ basketball team won a 67-40 Top of Iowa Conference contest on Friday, Jan. 19 over the Eagle Grove Eagles.

The black-and-gold jumped out to an 18-6 lead at the end of the first stanza and increased that advantage to 36-17 at intermission. The home team also 50-30 heading into the fourth quarter of action.
