For some time, I’ve been trying to put into words my thoughts on wokeness and the cancel culture that has infiltrated the American discourse. I’ve started columns and chucked them because they were too wordy, too cautious, too harsh, too whatever.
I’m for people being able to express themselves and their opinions so long as the effort doesn’t outright destroy others. But, that’s what is happening in our society, and it’s a shame.
