ALGONA—In a make-up game from last week, the Bishop Garrigan Golden Bears’ baseball team defeated the Garner-Hayfield/Ventura Cardinals by the final score of 9-7 on Wednesday, July 2.

The games featured a wild fifth inning where the Cardinals plated six runs to take the lead only to see the home team score five runs in the bottom of the frame to retake the lead and went onto the victory.
