ALGONA—It is a race that LeCenter, Mn.’s Mick Rykhus has been trying to win since it began. On Thursday, July 3 at the Kossuth County Speedway, Rykhus finally won the “Bumble Bee Nationals” as he took the first place winnings of $1,000 after capturing the sport compacts’ feature event.

Levi Volkert and Charles Prime brought the 18-car field to flag-stand to take the green flag as each of the 18 drivers was guaranteed $100 to start the feature.
