After losing their pool, the town of Burt used the money raised to repair the pool, combined it with a grant from the Palo Alto County Gaming Development Corporation and Gametime where they purchased the park equipment, and built a new park. More than 30 volunteers from Erpelding, Voigt & Co. spent a day helping install playground equipment, painting picnic tables and sprucing up the park to get it ready in time for Summer.
