The Support Our Veterans Ride held Aug. 17, 2024, starting in Lu Verne, was a great success. There were approximately 110 vehicles on the road with riders coming from as far away as Tennessee, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin and different parts of Iowa. There were roughly 225 people in attendance. The goal this year was to assist 100 veterans and they came close with 96.
