Emillie Claire Kenne and Ryan Allen Brandt were married July 8, 2017 at Call State Park in Algona, with Pastor Eric Hauan officiating.
Emillie is the daughter of Matt and Karla Kenne of Algona. She is the granddaughter of Karen and JW Gardner of Lu Verne, and Sharon Kenne of Algona.
Emillie’s matron of honor was her sister, Erinn Garman, of Urbandale. Bridesmaids were Jenessa Garman of Maquoketa, Bailey Anderson of Des Moines, Michelle Haught of Dallas, Texas, Madisen Garman of Des Moines, and Malory Garman of Cedar Falls. The bride’s personal attendants were Buffy Redmond and Karley Brantman, both of Iowa City.
Emillie was a 2010 graduate of Algona High School. She then attended the University of Northern Iowa where she received a degree in Biology and Spanish. She is currently a dental student at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, and she will graduate in May 2018.
Ryan is the son of Diane and Lloyd Brandt of Algona. He is the grandson of Delmar and Mary Brandt of Fridley, Minn.
Ryan’s best man was Nick Kajewski of Des Moines. Groomsmen were Isaac Lampe of North Pole, Alaska, Ryan Goche of Bancroft, Jon Parker of Winterset, Barnette Curry of Algona, and Donavon Greiner of Waukee. Ushers were Jim Garman of Algona and Isaiah Garman of Marion. The ringbearer and flower girl were the groom’s nephew and niece, Hayden and Harper Gales.
Ryan was a 2008 graduate of Algona High School. He then attended University of Northern Iowa where he received his degree in Criminology. He is currently a fraud analyst at Tax Act in Cedar Rapids.
Following the ceremony was a reception at the Trinity Life Center in Algona. Hosts and hostesses were Gina and Darin Garman, aunt and uncle of the bride, and Bob and Joann Hildman, aunt and uncle of the groom. Following the celebrations, the couple honeymooned in St. Lucia. They now reside in Iowa City.
