ALGONA—Playing in front of a nice crowd during homecoming week, the Algona Bulldogs’ volleyball squad earned their first North Central Conference victory on Thursday, Sept. 19 over the Clear Lake Lions.

The home team took the opening set 25-22 and raced out to a 14-0 advantage to begin the second game before cruising to 25-18 win.
