Algona now has a Bitcoin farm.

Officials announced this week that Simple Mining, a Cedar Falls-based company, is operating a Bitcoin farm on land rented from Algona Municipal Utilities. The facility is on North Ridgley Street and consists of six repurposed shipping containers.
