The Kossuth Shrine Club held the last car cruise for 2023 on Sept. 27. The parade of cars met in the Chrome parking lot before driving through the parking lots at Homestead, Algona Manor and the Good Samaritan Center. Driving through the nursing homes during one of the cruises has become a tradition for the club that meets once a month from May to September. The club drives to a restaurant somewhere in Kossuth County or surrounding areas to enjoy a meal. This night they ate at AK’s Chrome.
