Omdahl, Tzimas
Katie Omdahl and Steven Tzimas of Windsor, Ontario, said “I do” surrounded by their closest family at Pique Travel, a quaint, rustic travel agency turned event center in Excelsior, Minn., on May 20, 2017 with the Rev. Kaitlyn Foster officiating.
The celebration continued well into the evening with a few close friends and extended family of the couple.
Katie is the daughter of Howard and Sharon Omdahl and the granddaughter of Harold Sundet, all of Algona. The bride’s father escorted her down the aisle while “Your Song” by Elton John was played. The couple chose “Crazy Little Thing Called Love” by Queen for their recessional.
Karl Omdahl was the bride’s Man of Honor. Bridesmaids were Keara Omdahl of Algona, and Kristin Omdahl-Sheriff of Sioux Falls, S.D. shared readings during the ceremony. Personal attendant was Anna Kukla of Bloomington, Minn.
Steven is the son of Thomas Tzimas and the late Kathy Tzimas of Windsor, Ontario.
Best Ladies for their father were Olivia Tzimas of Toronto, Ontario, Madison Tzimas and Kyra Tzimas, both of LaSalle, Ontario.
The Flower Girl was Campbell Omdahl, niece of the bride, and the Ring Bearer was Alex Omdahl, nephew of the bride.
Katie is a graduate of Algona High School as well as Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. Currently, she is working at Best Buy.
Steven is a graduate of Windsor High School and the University of Windsor. Steven is currently employed at IDS Consulting.
The couple reside in Windsor, Ontario.
