Now that officials in the West Bend-Mallard School District know classes are finished for the school year because of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, they have set the prom date for June 20 and graduation ceremonies for June 28.
“Both could look a little different this year,” said Amanda Schmidt, school district superintendent. “We will plan the full graduation ceremony and keep everything the same as possible including class night and senior breakfast.” In the past, graduation ceremonies were held in the old gym. This year, both prom and graduation ceremonies could be held in the new gym.
