For the third consecutive season, the Bishop Garrigan Golden Bears football squad completed the regular season with an unblemished 9-0 record.
The latest campaign was finished on Friday, Oct. 20 at Conway Field as the fourth-ranked black-and-gold defeated the St. Edmond Gaels by the final score of 41-7.
“We dominated the field position game which was a huge factor in the game,” said Golden Bear Head Coach Marty Wadle. “Defensively, we played very well, giving up 169 total yards but 53 of that came on one pass play.
“All of our running backs ran hard and I thought our passing game was better. Brad played a good game and he did a good job of moving the ball around to all of our receivers.”
