ALGONA—Webster City remained undefeated in North Central Conference softball play on Monday, June 6 with a narrow 7-6 victory over the Algona Bulldogs.

The Lynx scored single runs in the first, second, third, fourth and seventh innings and two more in the sixth while the home team plated three runs in the third stanza along with single runs in the fifth, sixth and seventh frames and left the bases loaded in the bottom of the seventh inning.
