SWEA CITY—In a key early season Top of Iowa Conference softball contest, the North Union Warriors defeated Forest City 6-2 on Friday, May 30.

The green-black-and-silver scored three times in the first inning, once in the third and added two big insurance runs in the fourth frame as pitcher Ainsley Ulrich made those runs stand up for the league victory.
