BELMOND—North Union improved to 3-0 on the year in Top of Iowa Conference girls’ basketball play with a hard-fought 44-33 victory on Tuesday, Dec. 14 over the Belmond-Klemme Broncos.

The 12^th ranked Warriors started fast by taking an early 14-2 lead at the end of the first quarter and led 23-16 at halftime. The green-black-and-silver held a 34-24 advantage into the fourth period of action.
