ALGONA—West Bend-Mallard freshmen Tyra Schupbach placed seventh to highlight the performances of the four area girls’ cross-country squads on Monday, Sept. 26 at the annual Algona Invitational held at the River Road Golf Course.

Schupbach crossed the finish line with a clocking of 20:27 while teammate Lilly Morey was 36^th in 22:34 and Lexi Welter took 61^st place with her time of 24:07.
