DES MOINES—North Union junior Bryer Prochniak repeated last year’s feat as the talented Warrior earned medals in both the 100 and 200-meter dashes at the Class 1A state track meet last weekend inside Drake Stadium.

Prochniak placed fifth in the 200-meter dash finals on Saturday with a clocking of 22.80. He qualified for the finals with a time of 23.28 on Thursday that was the eighth best time that day as Keaton Bonderson of LeMars Gehlen was the state champion in 22.05.
