DES MOINES—Closing out a fabulous high school career with two of his best performances, Bryer Prochniak earned a pair of medals at the Class 1A boys’ state track meet last week on the beautiful blue oval.

Bryer started out Saturday with a great run in the 100-meter dash by breaking the Class 1A state record with his time of 10.73.
