BANCROFT—North Union handed Top of Iowa Conference leader Forest City just their second loss in the league on Friday, June 17 with a narrow 8-7 victory over the Indians.

Forest City led 4-3 after a high-scoring first stanza. The visitors scored two more in the second frame while the green-black-and-silver scored once in the bottom of the third to make the score 6-4.
