LAKE MILLS—Lake Mills built a big lead early and held off a late North Union rally to defeat the green-black-and-silver by the final score of 9-6 on Monday, June 30 in a Top of Iowa Conference contest.

The home team scored three times in both the first and second innings to take an early 6-1 advantage and added one run in the fourth and two more in the fifth to stay two games behind league leader Forest City in the conference standings.
