FOREST CITY—North Union’s Jacey Welbig finished in first place to highlight the performances of a pair of area girls’ cross-country squads at the Forest City Invitational on Monday, Oct. 10.

Welbig motored around the Bear Creek Golf Course with a winning clocking of 20:24.82 for the Warriors while teammate Hannah Morphew took 23^rd place in 23:53.57.
