LAKE MILLS—Abbie Capesius raced home from second base on a slow infield groundout to give Bishop Garrigan a wild 10-9, 12-inning conference softball victory on Friday, June 17 over the Lake Mills Bulldogs.

The battle was for second place in the Top of Iowa Conference standings as the black-and-gold evened their overall record at 8-8 but are 7-2 in the league while the Bulldogs fell to 8-4 overall and 7-3 in the conference.
