ALGONA—Ninth-ranked Bishop Garrigan scored in every inning they batted in a 17-0, four-inning Class 1A district baseball opening victory on Saturday, July 6 over the Belmond-Klemme Broncos.

The black-and-gold plated nine runs in the bottom of the first inning by pounding out five hits in the frame, all of them being singles.

The home team added another run in the second stanza as Benji Trainer singled and later crossed the plate as the Bison pitcher committed a balk.
