ALGONA—Bishop Garrigan outscored West Bend-Mallard 33-23 in the final eight minutes to rally for an 80-71 victory on Monday, Feb. 13 in the Class 1A district opener.

The black-and-gold put the contest away in the final minute at the charity stripe by draining 11 of 14 free throws. The Golden Bears made 18 of 22 foul shots on the evening as the purple-and-gold hit just 14 of 24 attempts.
