MILFORD—North Union’s Gavyn Morphew just missed a top 10 finish to highlight the performances of a pair of local boys’ cross-country teams at the Okoboji Invitational on Thursday, Aug. 31.

Morphew crossed the finish line in 11th place overall with his time of 18:03.71. The green-black-and-silver had just four runners and no team score in the season opener for the squad.
