FOREST CITY—In the season opener featuring a pair of ranked Class 3A girls’ basketball teams on Tuesday, Nov. 21, the 11^th-ranked Forest City Indians topped the 10^th-rated Algona Bulldogs by the score of 65-48.

A pair of big runs by the home team was the difference in the contest as the red-and-white had a 10-0 run in the first half and finished the game with a 13-0 run.
