WEST BEND—Defending state champion and fifth-ranked Remsen St. Mary’s topped West Bend-Mallard 34-18 on Friday, Sept. 8 in non-district football contest.

The home team’s Jaxon Zaugg recovered a Hawk fumble on the first play of the game and purple-and-gold made them pay as Landon Montag scored on an eight-yard run with just over two minutes gone in the contest for an early 6-0 advantage.
