Algona senior outfielder Stren Crouch was named to the first-team academic all-state team by the Iowa Baseball Coaches Association. The 36^th annual team was selected by a panel of coaches. The first team consists of the top 21 players regardless of class, nominated by their coaches, who demonstrate outstanding academic, moral and athletic characteristics. The next 23 players receive a second team all-academic certificate.
