FOREST CITY—The Algona Bulldogs went 2-3 in matches at the Forest City Invitational volleyball tournament played on Saturday, Sept. 17.

The red-and-black earned wins on the day over Hampton-Dumont by identical scores of 21-12 and topped the Spencer Tigers by the count of 21-9 and 21-19.

The Bulldogs fell to Clear Lake 21-18, 21-13 before losing to Forest City by the scores of 21-14, 14-21 and 5-15 and lost to Saint Ansgar 23-25, 21-17 and 13-15.
