ANKENY—The Algona Bulldogs’ baseball team dropped a pair of games to recently ranked Class 3A squads at the Prange Classic played here on Saturday, June 28.

The red-and-black lost a tough 1-0 pitcher’s duel in opener to fourth-ranked Ballard before dropping a 14-4 contest to Boone in the second game that just fell out of the rankings the previous week.
