Bulldogs earn win at Eagle Grove
EAGLE GROVE—Algona stepped outside of their North Central Conference baseball schedule on Thursday, June 3 with a road contest against former league foe Eagle Grove and came back to town with a 13-4 win over the Eagles.
The visitors scored one run in the first, two in the second and four in the fourth before blowing the contest open with three runs in both the sixth and seventh frames. The home team scored single runs in the fifth and sixth innings and added two more in the seventh frame.
Cameren Rindone led the red-and-black at the plate with three hits, including a double and a triple.
