LIVERMORE—In a battle of the cross-town boys’ golf teams on Thursday, May 2, the Algona Bulldogs edged the Bishop Garrigan Golden Bears 165-170 in a non-conference match played at Spring Valley.

Ben Greteman of Bishop Garrigan took the medalist honor in the meet with his nine-hole score of 37 as Algona’s Alex Manske was the runner-up medalist with a round of 39.
