ALGONA—For the first time ever, the Bishop Garrigan Golden Bears swim team hosted a meet as the black-and-gold squad entertained the Spencer Tigers on Monday, Jan. 6 at the Algona Family YMCA and fell by the final score of 110-46.

The meet started with the 200-yard medley relay where the Golden Bear quartet of Axel Mortensen, Colin Roberts, Matt Besch and Aiden Deitering took second place with a time of 2:00.98.
