BOONE—The post-season baseball district assignments were released last week for the area teams as they now know what teams stand in their way of a possible state tournament bid.

Two area teams were assigned to Class 1A District No. 3 while another squad is assigned to Class 1A District No. 4. Class 1A district contests will take place on July 2, 5 and 7.
