ALGONA—Fifth-ranked Algona had strong pitching performances from Aiden Ulrich and Aiden Engel as the red-and-black swept a North Central Conference doubleheader from Iowa Falls-Alden on Friday, May 30 by the scores of 11-0 in five innings and 4-2.

In the opener, Aiden Ulrich pitched a two-hitter with eight strikeouts and no walks as Dawson Elsbecker, Tate Slagle and Ryan Weier each had a pair of hits.
