ALGONA—The Algona Bulldogs’ volleyball squad split a pair of non-conference matches at home on Tuesday, Sept. 21 against Pocahontas Area and Clarion-Goldfield.

The red-and-black opened the night with a 25-19 and 25-16 victory over Pocahontas Area. The Bulldogs were successful on 44 of 49 serves as a team in that win for 89.8 percent with eight aces.
