WEST BEND—Sophomore Sam Fehr poured in 20 points and yanked down 11 rebounds to help lead the West Bend-Mallard Wolverine boys basketball team to their second victory of the season with a 54-53 non-conference win over the Eagle Grove Eagles.
The Wolverines outscored the visitors 18-13 in the final eight minutes to rally from a four-point deficit for the victory. The Eagles led 14-11 at the conclusion of the first stanza before the home team led 24-23 at intermission and Eagle Grove led 40-36 heading into the final period.
Both Jared Schmidt and Collin Montag contributed 10 points.
