Funeral services for Ronald Eugene Radig were held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, April 6, 2017, at Immanuel Lutheran Church with the Rev. Thomas Marth, officiating. Visitation was held from 5-7 p.m., Wednesday at Henry-Olson Funeral chapel in Estherville. Interment was at East Side Memorial cemetery in Estherville.
Ronald Eugene Radig, the son of Roger and Judy (Bowman) Radig was born Oct. 27, 1961, in Estherville.  He died on Monday, April 3, 2017 at the Heart Hospital in Sioux Falls, S.D., at the age of 55.
He received his education and graduated from Sentral High School in 1980.
On April 7, 1984, he married Kim Hunter at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Estherville.  Following their marriage the couple made their home in Estherville.  Ron worked for John Morrell and then Larson Construction.  In 1985, he began his employment with Pepsi and continued working there until the time of his death.  For hobbies, Ron enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting, boating, restoring cars but most important was spending time with family.
He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Estherville and a former member of the Black Knights Car Club.
Left to cherish Ron’s memory are his wife, Kim of Estherville; three children, Jenna (Shawn) Syverson; Mathew Radig; Michael Radig and girlfriend, Raeanna all of Estherville; grandchildren, Carter, Tanner, Dylan and Myles; parents, Roger and Judy Radig of Lone Rock; brother; Daniel Radig of Eau Claire, Wis.; mother-in-law, Rose Hunter; sisters-in-law, Kris (Kevin) Wittmer; Kathy Hunter all of Estherville; and two nieces, Stephanie and Molly.
He has been preceded in death by his grandparents and father-in-law, Kenneth Hunter.
