I want you to know how great this community has been during this difficult time in our history. The people of our community, the ecumenical community and my Presbyterian churches in Algona and Irvington have really stepped up and served the Lord and each other.
It has been beautiful. The way we have all reacted to things we never dreamed about at the start of 2020 has been nothing short of spectacular. Our community and our faith communities have been flexible, patient, kind and living into God’s plans for us in these surprising times.
It reminded me of a wedding, of all things.
