Joan E. Mueller, 88, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 24, at the Algona Manor Care Center.
Joan was born in Fenton, on Oct. 13, 1930 to the late Norman and Esther (Christian) Finnestad. She was preceded in death by her husband Ferdinand Mueller, brother, Duane Finnestad and sister, Delores Boettcher.

Marlene Dutton, age 86, of Algona passed away on Oct. 25, at the Algona Manor Care Center. Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 2, at Lentz Funeral Home in Algona, with Rev. Chris Burtnett celebrating. Visitation will be 4–6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1, at Lentz Funeral Home in Algona.

Elmer Anthony Schneider, known to many as Junior or Buck, 79, died peacefully and surrounded by his family on Oct. 22.  A memorial Mass was held on Saturday, Oct. 27, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Cecelia Catholic Church, Algona.  Inurnment was in St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery in Whittemore.
