Vickey LaRae Simonson, 62, of Shawnee, Okla. passed away on April 15, 2024, after a long health battle.
Vickey was born on Oct. 6, 1961, to Stan Simonson and Shirley Trollinger in Emmetsburg.
After graduating from high school, she continued her education through Oklahoma City Community College to obtain her degree in Business.
She went on to have three children. Victoria Marie Terrill, Christopher Ryan Simonson and Anthony Scott Simonson: one grandchild Chaz Michael, Terrill: and extended daughters Amber and Kylie Rankin.
Vickey enjoyed her Dr. Pepper, movies, dried beef sandwiches and a good argument. Her favorite pastime later in life was spending time with her grandson Chaz.
Vickey was predeceased in death by her mother Shirley and her brother Steven. She is survived by her parents Stan and Marlys Simonson; sisters Cindy and Tom Harsha, Stephanie and Adam Sullivan, Nicole and Brad Buscher; brother Billy and Holly Simonson: children Tory and Chris Terrill, Chris Simonson. Anthony Simonson; and grandson Chaz Michael Terrill. Vickey is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins. nieces and nephews from her large extended family, and Bill The Cat.
