Thomas Wayne Zeigler

August 1, 1944 - February 22, 2025

Thomas (Tom) Wayne Zeigler of Blaine, Minn. was born Aug. 1, 1944, in Algona, the son of Earl and Dorothy (Brown) Zeigler. He grew up in Algona where he attended school, graduating from Algona High School in 1962. Following high school Tom attended Dunwoody Technical Institute in Minneapolis, Minn. earning a degree in auto body.

On Sept. 5, 1964, Tom was united in marriage to Victoria (Vicki) Elizabeth Anderson in St. Paul, Minn. After their marriage they lived in St. Paul and eventually moved to Blaine where they raised their children and have resided for 57 years. Tom worked for several different auto dealerships and auto body shops during his career, including co-owning an auto body shop in St. Paul for several years.

Tom enjoyed attending car and tractor shows, researching and documenting family history and genealogy, reading, spending time outdoors and feeding the many backyard animals, having breakfast with friends and traveling with his wife.

Tom died peacefully on Saturday, Feb. 22 after a brave and courageous battle with cancer. He was 80.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years Victoria, his children Laura Petersen (Mark Adkinson); Pamela (Brian) Hutton; and Brian (Cicely) Zeigler; five grandchildren (Kelly, Henry, Heidi, Grant and Garrett), and one great-granddaughter (Scottie). Also surviving are his siblings, Gordon (Sheryl) Zeigler and Nancy Zeigler.

He was preceded in death by his parents Earl and Dorothy Zeigler, grandparents Wilbur and Mildred Zeigler and Linnea Hiserodt, uncle and aunt Wayne and Eunice Zeigler, aunt Marian Sparks, mother-in-law Florence Anderson, sister-in-law Sharon Remmen, nephew Richard Stelzer, and his best friend Gary Priebe.

Celebration of Life will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 8 at Kozlak Radulovich Blaine Chapel. (1385-107th Ave NE, Blaine, MN 55434).
