Myrabel Morey Lillie passed away unexpectedly on June 5, 2024, in Mesa, Ariz. She was born on Feb. 6, 1947, in Clearfield to Evelyn (McMath) and Dwight Morey.

Myra (Marb) graduated from Clearfield High School in 1965. She attended Southwestern Community College in Creston for two years and graduated from Northwest Missouri State University in 1969, with a Bachelor of Education degree. She received her Master of Education degree from NWMSU in 1972.

Myra married Allen J. Lillie at the Methodist Church in Clearfield on June 1, 1968, and they had two children, Sarah and John. She spent many hours attending their music and sports events. They traveled as a family to all 50 states. Throughout her long career as an educator she taught in Bolckow, Mo, Algona and Creston before retiring in 2002.

After retirement she and Al ultimately moved to Arizona where they spent time with their family. She volunteered at the Apache Junction Food Bank and on several committees in Sunland Springs Village where they resided.

Myra was preceded in death by her parents; Evelyn and Dwight; brother Jim Morey; parents-in-law, Yale and Dorothy Lillie and  Howard Poore; stepfather Joe Stevenson; grandparents Elvin and  Myra McMath and Russell and Belle Morey. She is survived and deeply mourned by her husband Allen, daughter Sarah (David) Wood, son John (Trisha) Lillie, and brothers Ed (Georgia) Morey and John (Donna) Morey.
