Becky Anderson, age 66, of Algona, passed away Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines surrounded by loved ones. Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. on Thursday June 6 at the Lone Rock Presbyterian Church, with burial in the West Bend Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be 4 – 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Lentz Funeral Home in Algona.  Becky’s service will be livestreamed via the Lentz Funeral Home website.

Gail Ann Eischen, 72, passed away at MercyOne Hospital in Clinton, IA.

Gail was born on March 19, 1952, to Irven and  Caroline (Thill) Eischen. Gail graduated from AHS.

A funeral Mass for Anita M. Degen, 90, of Algona, was held Friday, May 24, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Divine Mercy Parish - St. Cecelia Catholic Church in Algona. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery in Algona.

John William Christensen, age 58 of Buffalo, passed away on May 13, 2024, at Lake Ridge Care Center in Buffalo, Minn.

John was born on Jan. 8, 1966, in Britt, the son of William and Avis (Finley) Christensen.  He was baptized at Burt Presbyterian Church in Burt. John attended and graduated from Burt High School and then furthered his education receiving a communication degree from Buena Vista University.

Barbara Ann (Wildin) Hahn, aged 87, of Burnsville, passed away on May 7, 2024, at home surrounded by her family.

A private family funeral service in Barbara’s honor will be held. Barbara and her husband Dean will be laid to rest at Roselawn Cemetery.

A funeral service for John D. Shaw, 71, of Fenton, will be held Saturday, May 18, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at the Fenton United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, May 17 at the Church and will continue one hour prior to the service on Saturday.

A memorial service for Colleen Marlow, age 88, of Spirit Lake, will be held Friday, May 17, 2024, at 12 noon at Downtown Church in Milford. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at the church.

Colleen Ruth Marlow, daughter of Patrick James McGuire and Me Le (Sherman) McGuire, was born Sept. 21, 1935, in Spencer. She peacefully passed away on May 3, 2024, at Lakes Regional Healthcare in Spirit Lake at the age of 88.

Ann Graham, age 66, of Algona, passed away on Saturday May 4, 2024, at her home. A Celebration of Ann’s Life will be held on Saturday May 11, from 2 – 4 p.m. at the Lentz Funeral Home of Burt.

Ann Marie Foster, the daughter of Robert and Anna (Sankey) Foster was born on Feb.  3, 1958, in Algona. On Oct. 25, 1997, Ann was united in marriage with Jay Graham at Call Park in Algona. She had worked as a cashier at The Chrome for many years.
