Donald Reimers passed away Jan. 28, 2025, at the Kossuth Regional Health Center at the age of 90. Funeral service was 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 3, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Burt. Services were livestreamed via Lentz Funeral Home’s website. Interment took place at Burt Township Cemetery. Visitation was Sunday, Feb. 2, from 4 - 6 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Burt. Mass of Christian Burial was 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 3 at Divine Mercy Catholic Parish - St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Joe. Burial took place at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in St. Joe. Ramona Irene Henry, 68, of Algona, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, Jan. 19, 2025. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Ramona’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Connie was born in Algona, to Camilla (Bollig) Metzger and Clarence Metzger Sr. She is survived by her brothers, Robert Metzger and Clarence Metzger, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Shirley Callesen.

Harold Bosworth, age 87 of Algona, died Saturday, Jan. 18, at Kossuth Regional Health Center in Algona. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 22, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Algona. Visitation began at 10 a.m. and lasted until the service. Lentz Funeral Home of Algona assisted the family.

John Glen Goche was born Sept. 25, 1934, on the family farm east of Bancroft, son of Leo and Erma (Kahler) Goche. John graduated from St. John’s Catholic High School in 1953.

John met Frances Kodet at an old-time dance in Fairmont, Minn. They were married on Nov. 14, 1958, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bechyn, Minn. They raised their three daughters and farmed four miles east of Bancroft.
